Case Study: The Spanish Wine Industry

Results

The \(R^2\) values, or the adjusted coefficient of regression, are different for each of the three studies and they vary from 0.260 for cooperatives (\(n = 42\)), the lowest value, to 0.435 for individual wineries (\(n = 37\)), and 0.462 for mercantile wineries (\(n=159\)). These values were also found in other comparable studies, for example, 0.390; 0.279, and suggest that the model provides sufficient information to draw conclusions.
