6c Explain effective use of delivery characteristics, including the use of eye contact, vocal qualities, and gesture (CLO 9, CLO 10)

Using a range of different pitches gives you vocal variety. The ways that we use our voice can provide clues to our audience about our message and credibility. Avoid using a monotone or monotonous delivery style. Like so many other parts of the nonverbal delivery, using your voice to emphasize content takes practice.
