7c Identify the types of entertaining speeches (CLO 6)

Special occasion speaking is a common request as we attend events and commemorations. You may be invited to make an award presentation or accept an award. At a wedding or anniversary party, you may be expected to make a toast. At school, you may be invited to introduce a special guest to your classmates. In this short talk, Dr. Rocky provides an overview of the goals and strategies for crafting short and poignant special occasion speeches.
