Companies routinely perform SWOT analysis to determine which areas they do well in (Strengths), which areas need improvement (Weaknesses), and help them identify potential actions to positively affect the weaknesses (opportunities), and finally, identify and threats that could affect leadership development (Threats) and how to cope with those issues if they come up.
