There are three ancient rhetorical devices that are imperative to persuasion. In this talk, Dr. Sunny explains ethos (appeals based on the speaker's credibility and authority), pathos (appeals to emotions and values), and logos (appeals to logic and reasoning), and how to apply these when developing your persuasive speech assignments.
